During this year’s NY Tech Week, I spoke on the AI & The Future of the Creator Economy panel hosted by Beacons, a leader in “link in bio” tools for creators. One thing remains clear: these tools are moving fast.

You probably feel it every day as you scroll LinkedIn or read industry news—there’s always a new platform or another update. And while it can be overwhelming, in influencer marketing and business overall, keeping up with tech is essential. Platforms change, data shifts, and that workflow you finally perfected might already need revision.

No matter what side of the business you’re on, making the effort to stay in the loop with the latest tools is how you make sure the future doesn’t leave you behind.

Tech moves fast, but your curiosity can move faster. Making the effort to explore new tools isn’t about chasing every shiny update. It’s about staying sharp, adaptable, and ready for what’s next. The more you experiment, the more prepared you are when change comes.

Google offers free AI courses that dive into many different aspects of the emerging tech. Use this as a way to increase your knowledge and/or share with your network.

While I don’t anticipate AI influencers replacing real ones, it is becoming undeniable that they are finding their place on the internet. Expect to see more of these computer generated characters, as well as more discussion around the topic.
